Therapy Services

My approach to therapy is warm, open, and non-judgmental, grounded in a person-centered philosophy. My treatment approach is collaborative, adaptive, and focused on each individual’s needs. I incorporate relational, experiential and somatic techniques aimed at supporting processes of mind, body, and spirit.

As A Therapist, I Embrace The Following Philosophies:

  • I believe that you are worthy of love and care.

  • I believe therapy should address the whole person—their mind, body, spirit, and the systems they are part of.

  • I believe that emotions heal when they are witnessed and validated.

  • I believe that people underestimate their ability to change and that every person has an innate capacity for positive change and self-discovery.

  • I believe that growth often happens in discomfort. By understanding the patterns and forces that keep us stuck, we can unlock a natural desire to move forward and grow.

Treatment Modalities

Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR)

EMDR is a research-backed therapy designed to help individuals process and heal from traumatic experiences and distressing memories by reducing their emotional intensity and impact. EMDR helps clients reprocess painful memories and negative beliefs, allowing them to move past feelings of fear, shame, or anxiety and develop healthier emotional responses, improved self-esteem, and greater resilience.

Parts Work

Parts work focus on understanding and healing the different 'parts' of ourselves, such as inner critics, protectors and wounded parts that may carry conflicting emotions or roles. By creating a compassionate relationship with these parts, these modalities help individuals resolve inner conflicts, foster self-acceptance, and achieve greater emotional balance.

Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP)

AEDP is a therapeutic approach focused on helping individuals process emotional pain and trauma by tapping into their innate capacity for healing and transformation through a supportive and compassionate relationship. AEDP helps clients access and process core emotions, fostering self-compassion, resilience, and deep emotional healing. By working through difficult experiences in a safe and nurturing environment, clients can reconnect with their strengths and experience profound personal growth.

Gestalt Therapy

Gestalt therapy is a holistic approach that emphasizes awareness, presence, and integrating all aspects of the self—thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and physical sensations—into the present moment. Gestalt therapy empowers clients to gain deeper self-awareness, resolve internal conflicts, and improve relationships by exploring patterns, emotions, and behaviors in a safe and supportive environment. It helps foster personal growth and greater connection to one's authentic self.

Mindfulness (Mindfulness- Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT))

Mindfulness-based approaches focus on cultivating present-moment awareness and acceptance to reduce stress and improve emotional well-being. By practicing mindfulness, clients can learn to observe their thoughts and feelings without judgement, break free from unhelpful patterns, and respond to life’s challenges with greater clarity and intention.
